Your
Self-Empowerment
Journey
"Before I became a therapist, I was a high school English teacher, a college professor, and a yoga instructor. That path wasn't random -each role taught me something different about how people grow, get stuck, and find their way back to themselves. I bring all of that into my practice now.
I work with adults across Nevada via telehealth who are wrestling
with anxiety, people-pleasing patterns, trauma, and self-worth.
Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside and
exhausted on the inside. They've tried pushing through. They've
read the books. They come to me when they're ready to actually
go somewhere different.
I'm also a Level II Reiki practitioner and E-RYT advanced yoga
teacher — which means I understand that healing isn't just
cognitive. The body is part of this too, and I take that seriously."
"My approach is integrative and body-aware. I draw primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, ACT, and CBT — but I'm not rigid about it. I follow your lead.
IFS, in particular, changed how I see people. Instead of labeling
behaviors as 'bad habits' or 'self-sabotage,' we get curious about
the parts of you doing those things — and why they developed. Most of the time, even the parts that seem destructive are trying to protect you. Once clients experience that shift in perspective, things start to move.
I'm also LGBTQ+ affirming and deeply committed to working with clients across diverse backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. You'll never need to explain or justify who you are in our sessions."
"Expect a real conversation — not a checklist. I'll ask you what
brought you here, what you've already tried, and what you're
hoping changes. We'll start mapping out what matters most to you, and I'll start getting a sense of how I can be most useful.
You don't need to arrive with your story fully organized or know
exactly what's wrong. Most people don't. What matters is that you showed up.
Sessions are 50 minutes, fully via telehealth, and I keep my
schedule flexible with evening availability for clients who work
during the day. If you want to connect before committing, I offer a free 15-minute consultation — just a low-pressure conversation to see if we're the right fit."
"I accept Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United, Oscar,
and Optum. Self-pay sessions are $120. Sliding scale available
for those who qualify — please reach out and we'll figure
something out."
